Welcome back after a lovely Christmas holiday break. We hope you are all rested and now ready for the Spring Term.

Last term we investigated the Stone Age and looked at healthy eating in our Food Glorious Food topic. It was lovely to have the grandparents in for the children to cook for.

This term our topic is Roman Remains. Whale class will be visiting Fishbourne Roman Palace and taking part in a craft activity.

In Science we will be looking at light and shadows and how they change throughout the day.

In English this week we will be looking at Poetry and New Years Resolutions and coming up with some of our own!

Warburton's came in a taught us the importance of bread and how to make sandwiches using lots of healthy ingredients!

Welcome to Whale Class. I hope you have all had a lovely summer holiday.

Whale class have been settling  in well and they have been decorating their classroom.

We have been reading the Snail and the Whale and retelling the story through the use of drama.

In computing we have been making our own blog pages and creating our own weemee, designing how we want to look on your picture.

I look forward to getting to know your children throughout the year.

Miss Dickson
