End of Term

Dear Parents and Children,

It is nearly the end of our school year and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the children, staff and governors for all their hard work.

I would especially like to congratulate our Year 6 children as they prepare to leave us. This year they had to ‘seek the challenge’ in their studies and tests. I am pleased to report that their KS2 test results show positive progress and outcomes. The percentage of children who achieved Age Related Expectations in all three core subjects deserves a special mention. This was 6% higher than the national average. What an achievement!

In addition to their academic success, the Year 6 children demonstrated their creative and artistic talent at the end of this term in their fabulous musical production ‘Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits’. Everyone who saw this show was hugely impressed with the standard of their performances. The children now have the independence, confidence and good manners to go on to secondary school and do us all very proud.

I wish everyone associated with Wootey Juniors a very happy and restful summer holiday.
