There is no need to print these resources. Load the questions on your laptop, computer or tablet screen and write the answers on paper.

 

Group A Learning: Important to Learn

>2 arithmetic sheets   (split across 5 days)

>Maths lessons. Please click on the links and follow the videos. Children only need pencil and paper to complete.

>Reading comprehension from your pack (1 per day)

>Take some time each day to read for pleasure

>Writing booklet. Aim for one activity per day

 

Group B Learning: This is good to learn

>TTRockstars or Hit The Button online game

>Take a look at the Science resources!

>Create a poster/fact-file or something even more exciting on Japan

Group C Learning: This is fun to learn

>Continue to engage with the challenges and posts on the Wootey Blog

>Take some time to learn some life skills! Learn how to wash a car, how to iron, how to use the washing machine, etc.

Group A Learning: Important to Learn

>There are 4 half arithmetic packs  (1 per day)

>There is a maths booklet  (dip in and out each day)

>Maths Challenges:  use paper to write your answers but read the questions on the screen

>In your new printed learning pack to be collected on Monday 18th May you will find mini comprehensions which should take no more than 15 minutes per one. Aim to do one per day.

>Finish your animal non-chronological report or fact file and submit to SeeSaw or via sport@wootey-jun.hants.sch.uk

> There is a sort-the suffix grammar activity (choose you own level of challenge and watch Miss Boulton's video to help you!)

 

We estimate that the work above would take on average around two hours maximum each day. 

 

Group B Learning: This is good to learn

>Weekly spellings put on the class page (there are a few extra words this week so that you will have some for half-term as well)

>Keep up-to-date with your Science by having a go at the activities on the class page and also looking here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zhk2mfr 

>Keep practising your handwriting as well as learning poetry with this week's Handwriting Poem

 

Group C Learning: This is fun to learn

>Take part in Mr Wallis' Wootey Word challenge

>Take part in Mrs Healy's Countdown challenge

>Continue to engage with the challenges and posts on the Wootey Blog
