Secondary Schools

 

We have two excellent secondary schools in our immediate vicinity.

 

The majority of our pupils transfer to either Eggar's School or Amery Hill, both within walking distance of Wootey Junior School. Each school has individual specialisms which makes it distinctive and each has very good pastoral and academic reputation.

 

We enjoy strong links with both school and our pupils visit for curriculum enrichment events and sporting activities.

 

We prepare our children carefully for the transition to secondary school. Feeder schools provide taster days and open events and we encourage parents and children to attend.

 

Once places have been secured, we work closely with the secondary schools on transition projects. Members of staff from the secondary schools visit our pupils and meet with our staff to discuss each pupils individuals needs.
