Anti-Bullying Week

Last week was ‘Anti-Bullying Week’ with a focus on ‘Change Starts with us’. Children have looked at the difference between being ‘bullied’ and falling out with friends. The message is very clear at Wootey Junior School: Be Safe, Be Kind and Be Respectful.

Throughout the week activities have included:

  • What it actually means to be respectful
  • Bullying is a behaviour choice and is never acceptable
  • We need to respect people both face to face and online

The children were invited to come to school dressed in odd socks. This was done to highlight that we should all be proud to be different.
